From Metallica’s self-titled fifth studio album, the third single Nothing Else Matters was released on 20 April 1992. It was recognized as one of the band’s best known and most popular song. The song reached the top ten on many European charts, number 1 in Denmark, reached number 6 on the UK Singles Chart, and it peaked on Number 11 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks. The song has a tempo of 48 bpm.
Lars Ulrich, a Danish-American musician, songwriter, record producer, and best known as the drummer and co-founder of Metallica. He was born into an upper-middle-class family in Denmark, a son and a grandson of tennis players, but instead of playing tennis, he played drums. He was also known as the pioneer of fast thrash drum beats.
