It reached number one on the UK Singles Chart and became Queen’s second number-one hit after the Bohemian Rhapsody in 1975. The song Under Pressure was Bowie’s third number-one hit after the reissue of Space Oddity in 1975, and Ashes to Ashes in 1980. It has a tempo of 120 bpm.
Roger Taylor, Queen’s drummer, was voted by radio listeners in 2005 in a poll conducted by Planet Rock, as the eighth-greatest drummer in classic rock music history.
