Jean-Baptiste Perraudin

Born on 16 September 1974 in Dijon, Jean-Baptiste Perraudin began playing violin at the CNR in Dijon. He discovered the drums as an autodidact at the age of 8 years. He performed his military service in Montbéliard as a drummer from 1994 to 1995. He studied jazz in Paris at the ARPEJ school from 1995 to 1998.

His musical influences are: Max Roach, Buddy Rich, Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers , Vinnie Colaiuta, Virgil Donati, Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, Kenny Garrett and Brad Meldhau.
He has been collaborating with Batteur Magazine since October 2002 and featured numerous interviews with:
Billy Cobham, Dennis Chambers, Alex Acuna, Dave Weckl, Dave Lombardo, Mike Terrana, Thomas Lang, Virgil Donati ...
